With excellent routes nearby Somerset is an ideal base when planning trips to the many shopping malls, beaches and Disney, which is less than 30 minutes away, as well as SeaWorld, Wet & Wild and Universal Studios "Islands of Adventure" and "Ride the Movies".

Somerset community offers a number of communal facilities such as basketball and volleyball courts, together with soccer and baseball fields, a fitness centre and a community pool.
